Wander through the old town, and stop by the iconic Lausanne Cathedral. Don’t miss the Olympic Museum, within walking distance of the Royal Savoy. Then, visit the trendy Flon district in the evening. Whether by bike or on foot, Lausanne has a lot to offer: visit museums, stroll in the many parks and gardens along the floral quays. Lausanne offers many activities for families. Visit Europe’s largest freshwater aquarium-vivarium, the Servion Zoo, where kids will marvel at Siberian tigers, Arctic foxes and wolves, or red deer and much more. Kids will also love spending time on or around Lake Geneva. Explore Lausanne's surrounding area

There are many exciting places to explore in the nearby region. Enjoy a cruise across Lake Geneva to one of the many towns along the shoreline. Visit the Castle of Chillon in Montreux (pro tip: visit when the sun is setting) and take a tour through the vineyards around Lausanne and learn about the region’s history and local wine growing culture. The famous Dents du Midi are less than an hour away, while in just ten minutes you can be in the Lavaux –a UNESCO World Heritage Site, listed for its famous and picturesque terraced vineyards.
